Since opening the shop back in November 2008, we’ve been acutely aware of the scarcity of a good lampshade. In 2009 we began to have our own marbled lampshades made and gradually over time have added to our collection. The extraordinary silk ikat shades lined with Irish linen from Melodi Horne, fabulous faux finish shades by Bridie and the classically bold book cloth shades by Marianna Kennedy. But sometimes a quiet corner isn’t calling out for something so high-concept and wants for something calming instead. Which is why we are pleased to present our collection of plain coloured card lampshades. Taking our muted hue inspiration from the historical Wedgwood pottery, Aubusson and Verdure tapestry colour archives.
